by Lauren - No CommentsFans of The Lying Game will be happy to hear that The Lying Game is managing to hold on to it’s increase in viewership numbers with the number of viewers holding steady around 1.7 million.
This is far better than what The Lying Game managed to do in the first half of the season and is also much higher than what The Nine Lives of Chloe King achieved last year in this time slot. Although Chloe King was unfortunately cancelled last year, this has left room for The Lying Game to be paired with Pretty Little Liars.

Pairing the show with Pretty Little Liars has really boosted viewing figures and over 1.7 million people tuned in to watch The Lying Game episode 13 and the return of Sutton Mercer.

A total of 1.51 million viewers tuned in to watch The Lying Game on Monday. That is the 2nd highest viewing figure to ever watch The Lying Game. Only last weeks mis season premiere has ever had more viewers.
Who knows… Maybe after the unexpected entry we had at the end of The Dead Awaken more viewers will tune in to see what happens in episode 13 of The Lying Game.

Over 1.8 million people tuned in to watch the return of The Lying Game, which is amazing when you take into consideration that only 1.4 million tuned in for the pilot episode.
Looks like we were proven right again folks. We said that if The Lying Game followed Pretty Little Liars it’s ratings would improve and would lessen the chances of the show being cut. Now The Lying Game aired directly after Pretty Little Liars and has improved drastically. Of course, if this continues then the likelihood of The Lying Game being renewed for a 2nd Season will be greatly increased.
We’re crossing our fingers that The Lying Game gets green lit for a second season.

The show ended on a massive cliffhanger so we’ll have to wait and see what happens when the show returns for the second half of the first season.

Although the show has been extended for a further 12 episodes it does make you wonder how long it will last if it continues on this downward slope.

by Lauren - No CommentsThankfully the Lying Game has already been extended for another 12 episodes because the ratings continue to fall for The Lying Game. Only 1.2 million viewers tuned in to watch The Lying Game season 1 episode 6 Bad Boys Break Hearts.
I think the show continues to get better but perhaps people are disappointed that the show is so different from the books. The books were very mysterious and were centred around the death of Sutton and Emma trying to figure out who killed her twin, while pretending to be Sutton. The book was very dark while The Lying Game TV show is more of a soap opera where the twins are working together to find their birth mother and what really happened 16 years ago. So far no Lying Games have actually been pulled but they have been referred to in the past. Also fans of Pretty Little Liars might be disappointed as there is less murder mystery and more soapy than they might have expected.
Only time will tell if The Lying Game can pick up more viewers as the season continues.
The Lying Game Season 1 Episode 3 Double Dibs Ratings
by Lauren - No CommentsThe Lying Game s01e03 “Double Dibs” viewing figures were very slightly down from last weeks but they have been pretty stable since the first episode aired on the 15th of September. The viewing figures came in at just under 1.4 million viewers tuned in to watch episode 3 of The Lying Game.
I am surprised that The Lying Game didn’t manage to gain in the numbers after the hole left by The Nine Lives of Chloe King finale. Maybe it’s not The Lying Game TV show that’s at fault. Maybe it would have been a better idea to have aired The Lying Game right after Pretty Little Liars. After all, they are by the same book author and they are targetted at the same audience demographic. The CW are switched on enough to recognize such an opportunity. They are doing just that with The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle. Both The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle were written by L.J. Smith, one about vampires and werewolves and the other about witches.
The 4th episode of The Lying Game is due to air tonight on ABC Family. Let’s hope that The Lying Game can retain it’s audience.
