Alexandra Chando Discusses The Lying Game Fall Season Finale

by Lauren - No Comments

Alexandra ChandoAlexandra Chando had an interview with seventeen.com about The Lying Game Fall Season Finale and what’s to come.

Cosmogirl: What would you say is the most exciting thing to look forward to in the finale?
Alexandra Chandro: Sutton and Emma reuniting! They haven’t seen each other face to face since the first episode so it’s really something to look forward to. Drama goes down!!

CG: Do you have a preference of which twin you like to play more?
AC: Well, I will say that in the finale I loved playing Sutton! She is back with a vengeance and she is so fun. There are also moments with Emma that I really enjoy, so both, but I would say in the finale: Sutton.

Randy Wayne Interview About Justin and The Lying Game

by Lauren - No Comments

Randy WayneSo Randy Wayne who plays Justin in The Lying Game had a chance to give Wetpaint.com an exclusive interview. Did he give any hints and tips as to what will happen next in the fall season finale of The Lying Game? Well it turns out Justin’s quite kooky and I think he avoided mentioning anything surprising in this interview. He managed to navigate through this interview without giving any major hints or tips but did try to bring some fun to the interview, by suggesting maybe Justin’s big secret is that he’s a vampire!! I was hoping to find out what else is in that mysterious box of Justin’s…

Wetpaint: So the box… of baseball cards.
Justin: I definitely cannot say what’s in the box. And I honestly don’t know. I know a little about what is in there but they don’t want to tell us too much so we don’t spill the beans. Even the glance I did, I had no clue why I was doing it. It was like, “You have this look of concern, like you want to tell her something, but you’re worried to tell her.” I was like, “Okay, I guess I’ll just make it up in my head.”

Blair Redford Talks About His Motorcycle From The Lying Game

by Lauren - No Comments

Blair Redford had the following to say to hollywoodcrush.mtv.com about his recent stunts on The Lying Game.

“There’s a dartboard out by Dan and Ethan’s trailer, so I’ve been throwing a lot of darts in between shots,” he enthused. “I think I could take it to pro level, get some sponsorships or something.”

But, the skill he’s really passionate about is the aforementioned motorcycle riding.

“The big one for me is riding the motorcycles,” he said. “You guys haven’t seen that much. I put in a request… They actually got me with a coach. Ethan has two bikes: he’s got a street bike and a dirt bike. It’s fun. They’ve let me go off in the desert with that one and do some jumps… We never used [the footage]. And then I learned on the street bike and that comes up in, I think, episode eight. That’s been huge.”

But he’s always big on safety and has to wear his crash helmet.

Sharon Pierre LouisSharon Pierre-Louis plays mean girl Nisha Randall on The Lying Game. Sharon talked with celebsecrets4u.com about how she got the role of Nisha, why we should keep tuning in and what’s up with Nisha and her bad attitude toward Sutton.

CelebSecrets4U: What was the audition process like for the role of Nisha Randall?
Sharon-Pierre Louis: “My character, Nisha, is not very nice! I auditioned for the role and received a call back. After that, I was called in for a screen test with two other girls that were also up for the role. That process wasn’t scary, but it was definitely a big deal for me! From there I received another callback to the network for a studio test. It was down to the wire with one other actress. A week after the studio test, I found out that I booked the role!” Continue Reading →

Allie Gonino Interview with Daemon TV

by Lauren - No Comments

The Lying Game Allie GoninoAllie Gonino who plays Laurel Mercer in The Lying Game had an exclusive interview with Daemon TV and talked about The Lying Game, her character Laurel, her musical talents and how she would love to be in True Blood. We think True Blood rocks too and think Allie would make a really cute vampire. Then when she turned evil it would pack a bigger punch. I think she could pull off super cute and super evil at the same time. Throw in some of Laurel’s sarcasm and it would be perfect.

‘The Lying Game’ has a pretty interesting concept. What attracted you initially to the part of Laurel?
Allie Gonino: I just love the fact that she’s so witty and sarcastic and has this upbeat sense of humor. I love funny people and I get a lot of pleasure out of playing her. She’s very fun, but also has just a sense of vulnerability because of her situation with her parents, and Sutton, that’s something that really attracted me as well. So, she’s real, but she’s playful. Alexandra Chando Talks About Dual Role

by Lauren - No Comments

As is now common knowledge. Alexandra Chando is playing both twins (Emma and Sutton) in The Lying Game. She spoke with popconfidential about her new roles and the challenges it created.

Can you talk about playing dual roles and the challenges that come with that?

Alexandra Chando: Of course. It’s first a blessing, first of all, to just have the opportunity to play two roles. To be able to develop two characters and kind of find different things about them and explore them each and every day has been incredible. It does come with its challenges, though. I have 15-hour work days and I’m working an awful lot compared to what I would be working if I was just playing one character. It’s a challenge in the sense, besides the hours and the exhaustion, just trying to keep them straight sometimes. We’re about to embark on Episode 6. Today, we start it. It’s gotten a little bit easier to really feel like these characters and understand them, but there are moments where a little bit of Sutton will creep into Emma and vice versa. It’s definitely been a challenge and I’d say, as well, having to act with a green screen or an eye line with an X on the wall has become easier, but it was definitely a challenge in the beginning.

I am really hoping that she is able to pull it off as well as Nina Dobrev plays Elena and the Vampire Kathryn in Vampire Diaries. I really think a lot of people will compare these 2 actresses to each other once this show goes live, purely because of the twin connection. And then the twin connection will get worse when Sarah Michelle Geller makes her appearance as twins in Ringer in September. Looks like the Fall TV season is all about Double Trouble.

by Lauren - No Comments

She’s raising the stakes!!

Here’s an interview Sara Shepard (author of The Lying Game and Pretty Little Liars) did with MTV.com

While “Pretty Little Liars” fans are kept awake at night trying to figure out who A is, why he/she is torturing Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, and who killed their friend Alison, ABC Family is giving us an entirely new puzzle to work out, “The Lying Game.” And we know it’s going to be filled with creepy plot twists, characters we’ll simultaneously love and hate and a touch of romantic intrigue because it’s based on another book series by “PLL” author Sara Shepard. And before you tune in to the show (which premieres on Monday, August 15, at 9 p.m), we suggest making the first two installments, “The Lying Game” and “Never Have I Ever,” your Summer Beach Reads of the weekend. by Lauren - 1 Comment

For as long as she can remember, Bethlehem native Alexandra Chando has been a Musikfest fanatic.
